The thing about "looking forward" in sports is that if you look back or dwell on other things then you are not truly focused on the task at hand. i train for 9 months to play a 3 month season because when the season starts i need to know that i am 100% confident in what i am doing. that way there is no need to look back but when i go out there to kick the only thought in my head is...this kick is going down the middle or something like that
I'm a native of Sydney, Australia, and a graduate (BA & PhD) of The University of Sydney, where I've taught for the past few years. I also studied and taught at The University of Melbourne and Monash University, and studied at The University of Paris VIII. When not teaching full time I freelance as a translator from French to English.
